no proof began with the song nickel dime during arizona '99 as a skate punk band.. after teaming up with a guitarist, the two members of the band rocked out in san diego for a year and then was joined by the bassist of the band Tax Included.. the three compadres recorded covers and original songs in a garage until the drummer left for exeter, new hampshire.. the original twelve track punk cassette is rare and completely contrasts the no proof of today.. after staying dormant for two years, no proof broke through with antisocial, a song about all of the cool, popular kids who think they're everything.. eventually in 2002, no proof took off in a new direction, towards emotional punk rock.. more based on observations than a lot of personal experience, no proof wrote songs about what went on.. they continue to rock out, but with a new purpose...
